My Biggest Craving

My biggest craving lately hasn’t been pasta or cannoli. It has been for suede! That’s right, the soft, supple and sumptuous backside of leather! I want it in boots, in shoes and even in a vest. And I want it in shades of brown and carmel and tan. I know people are afraid of the stuff when the weather turns wet and cold, but it really is easy to take care of and hello…wear some snow boots and change when you get inside! Now back to my craving…

Suede evokes thoughts of fireplaces, warm, cozy knits, hot chocolate with additives, and a good book. It reminds me of the holidays, homecoming and happy things. OK, so maybe I am a little sentimental, but suede is my friend.

Here are just a few of the shoes/boots that I have waiting in my shopping cart.

Not only is it suede, but it is over-the-knee! Two, two, two trends in one! So pretty and so versatile, worn up or folded down!

Ok, just look at it. So sassy and the grey taupe color is heavenly. Yeah, it’s high, but with skinny pants or a dress and tights, I am in love!

Very retro and very cool. Love the nod to American Vintage, and love them with tucked jeans or a dress with a long cardigan!

Gasp! These are perfectly shaped and nice and high and so soft and classic…Absolutely gorgeous.
So, my craving has subsided a little just by sharing my faves with you. But before long I am going to have to give in and purchase! And I won’t need much per-seuding! HA!
